Hi, I’m Thasi Ponda.

I’m singer, songwriter and music producer from Kivu in East of Congo DRC , blending alternative sounds with Congolese roots to tell stories that matter. Awarded twice best producer of Kivu, I recently had the honor of being crowned Best composer at the African Music Academy Awards—but for me, the real win is connecting directly with the people who feel the music.

That’s why I’m excited to be on Sleeve. It’s a space where I can share unreleased tracks, ideas in progress, and behind-the-scenes moments—without algorithms getting in the way. Just me and you, no middlemen.
